RECENT HISTORY OF THIS EASEL - I bought this easel in 2001 from Marianne Philips a collector who bought it years ago and had it documented as such. An additional photo of the same easel can be seen in the book she wrote called Elvgren Poster Book, which was published before she sold me the easel. Other photos of the easel are in the Elvgren Book "ELVGREN - His Life and Art". Many photos document me with the easel in display and use at my Vanguard Gallery and art studio in Carmel, Ca. Where I paint with full authority, Elvgren replica pinup paintings for the last 20 years.
