Most likely before the larger firms in the midwest published in the later 1950's.
A Very Rare and hard to find image in this size and uncirculated condition.

I think as an artist and art collector of over 45 years this is aesthetically pleasing and romantic nude photo art.

Stored since new when I bought the estate of a pinup art calendar employee. It was put away and stored since new along with many other proofs and sample sets. I have had it for years and have faithfully preserved it as well. It has not been framed or seen the light of day. It was never framed.

Nude Marilyn Monroe (Norma Jean Baker) posed for such a calendar and was published first by this very same company first and offered in these same portfolio (please see my other listings for this one) In the 1940's and she was paid $50, needing the extra money as a struggling actress. Many of the models and actresses did this. I have interviewed in my studio a co worker, model and Tome Kelly's assistant who was working there on the day of the Norma Jean "Marilyn" photo shoot.
